Connor Firmender is the Managing Partner of Firmender Capital, a private family investment office focused on public equities, venture investments, and emerging technologies supporting ocean and climate resilience. As the firm’s founder and principal investor, he oversees portfolio strategy and capital allocation across public and private markets, with investments spanning technology companies, early-stage startups, and global financial markets. The firm currently manages $15.3 million in assets under management.
His philosophy is shaped by experience as an operator and business strategist: founder-led companies, scalable technology platforms, and ventures with a clear path to market adoption and exit. Through investment and advisory work he has facilitated more than $6 million in private equity investment and supported early-stage companies working at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and global infrastructure, alongside an international network of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators across more than 20 countries.
He is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University’s School of Entrepreneurship. Outside of investing he spends his time boating, freediving, and scuba diving, experiences that continue to inform the firm’s long-term focus on ocean innovation and climate resilience.
Hannah Firmender
Head of Investor Relations · Boca Raton
Hannah Firmender is Head of Investor Relations at Firmender Capital, where she leads investor engagement and strategic partnerships. Her approach is grounded in building trusted, long-term relationships as she supports the continued growth of the family’s legacy, forging connections with founders and industry leaders aligned with the family’s vision.
Originally from Los Angeles, she has worked with founders and executive teams to support commercial growth initiatives, refine go-to-market strategies, strengthen investor communications, and prepare companies for Seed and Series A rounds. Her business development work has connected startups with strategic partners in biotechnology and the blue economy, and her international network gives the firm access to select, high-quality opportunities and emerging technologies.
Guided by discernment, discretion, and a global perspective, she is also a competitive sailor who enjoys scuba diving, freediving, hiking, and beach volleyball. Her connection to the marine environment continues to inspire her interest in technologies advancing ocean resilience and sustainable global infrastructure.

Ryan brings experience in sales strategy, operational leadership, and global business development. He has held strategic leadership roles at Pico Trading, Curinos, and Thomson Reuters, leading international initiatives across more than 20 countries and supporting major enterprise clients with combined revenue exceeding $160 million, with a focus on project execution, partnership frameworks, and governance models.
